Promoting a Safer Church

At St Andrew’s we are committed to the safety of all our members and take Safeguarding very seriously.

All of our Clergy, Children’s and Youth Leaders, Lay Pastoral Assistants, Readers, Head Server, Tower Captain, Choir Master and Churchwardens hold current enhanced DBS checks appropriate to their role and receive regular safeguarding training.

If you have a safeguarding concern, please contact:

Our Safeguarding Officer, Stephen Grimshaw who can be contacted on 01823 332531, or the Vicar, Reverend Preb Robin Lodge on 01823 352471.

If it is a matter concerning immediate risk to a Child, Young Person or Vulnerable Adult, you should contact the Police on 999 or 101 or the Local Authority Social Care Service on 0300 123 2224 (out of hours 0300 1232327 (children) 01823 368244 (Adults and Mental Health).
