Welcome to St Andrews Church, Taunton, a part of the Church of England. Our parish covers a large part of North East Taunton, including Rowbarton, Obridge, Wellsprings and Cheddon Road, but, wherever you come from, all are welcome. If you are new to the area, we are situated towards the north end of Taunton just beyond the railway station.
We aim to serve our regular congregation and wider community alike, with the worship of God, especially in celebration of the Eucharist, at the centre of its life.
We meet for worship on Sundays at 10.00am and occasionally in the evening. The church is currently open for private prayer on Sundays from 12 noon to 3.30pm and Thursdays from 9.00am to 12.30pm.
We have an excellent relationship with St Andrew’s Church School across the road, which is part of the Bath & Wells Multi-Academy Trust.
A browse through this site should provide you with a wealth of information about us, but if you’d like more information, please get in touch.
If you would like a member of the clergy to get in touch, please see the Contact Us
page for details. There is also a Parish Office which is staffed on Tuesdays to Fridays from 8.30am until 11.30am.
There is access for wheelchair users to the main part of the church, including a wheelchair accessible toilet.
An inductive loop system is installed to assist those with hearing aids, and we can provide large print copies of the Order of Service and newsletter for those who need them.
Please see the Services under Worship and Prayer for details of the next service and What's On pages for details of what is happening this week.
At St Andrew’s we aim to be inclusive of the huge variety of human experience. Come as you are. Come and share with us. A warm welcome awaits.
