Collect (Prayer):
Almighty and everlasting God,
who gave to your apostle Barthlomew grace
truly to believe and to preach your word;
grant that your Church
may love that word which he believed
and may faithfully preach and receive the same:
through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord,
who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and for ever.
Bible Readings:
Isaiah 43.8-13, Acts 5.12-16, Luke 22.24-30
Prayer After Communion:
Lord God, the source of truth and love,
keep us faithful to the apostles’ teaching and fellowship,
united in prayer and the breaking of bread,
and one in joy and simplicity of heart,
in Jesus Christ our Lord.

the end of our searching,
help us to lay aside
all that prevents us from seeking your kingdom,
and to give all that we have
to gain the pearl beyond all price,
through our Saviour Jesus Christ.
