Conversion of Paul
10.00am Parish Eucharist
After the service: Late Christmas Lunch,
Church Hall
Collect (Prayer):
Almighty God, who caused the light of the gospel
to shine throughout the world
through the preaching of your servant Saint Paul:
grant that we who celebrate his wonderful conversion
may follow him in bearing witness to your truth;
through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord,
who is alive and reigns with you,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever.
Bible Readings:
Acts 9.1-22, Galatians 1.11-16a, Matthew 19.27-end
Prayer After Communion:
Lord God, the source of truth and love,
keep us faithful to the apostles’ teaching and fellowship,
united in prayer and the breaking of bread,
and one in joy and simplicity of heart,
in Jesus Christ our Lord.

Help Needed!
I would appreciate it if we could have a small list of people willing to help clean the “hedgehogs” that are in the gutters to catch leaves as I am unable to go up the ladders without a “hedgehog mate”. If you are willing to help me, could you let myself or Lesley in the Parish Office know and we will set up a list. Many thanks, David
Children’s Society Blue Box Appeal
I will be collecting the annual Children’s Society Blue Boxes during January. You can bring them to church or contact me to arrange collection.
If anyone would like to make a donation, I am happy to accept at any time, with or without a Blue box. I have spare boxes if anyone would like one…. just ask me. All donations are most gratefully received by the Children’s Society who do such good work with young people in times of need and crisis. Thank you, Joycey
