New Service Books - 2010
When Common Worship was first introduced at the turn of the century (!), Julian Smith and Katharine Smith worked together to produce the range of worship books we now enjoy. Since then more material covering the seasons and festivals of the church’s year has been published and so, ten years on, there seems an opportunity to replace them. This time there will be a range of books including most of the services we will need for each major season of the year, beginning on Ash Wednesday with Lent and Passiontide.
Alongside this we will gradually begin to develop the Second Sunday Service to support corporate worship with our children and young people. In order to keep the maximum freedom to try different things this service will not be included in the new books.
