Local Ministry Group ('LMG') 

St. Andrew's is a member of a Diocese of Bath and Wells Local Ministry Group and we regularly join with our friends from All Saints, Holy Trinity and St. Peter's Churches to pray together, and for special services and events.

Local Ministry Group Prayers 

We meet at Fridays at 9.30am. The aim is to say Morning Prayer together and also use the time to pray for each other’s churches and seek God’s guidance for all that we do together

St Peter’s is a large church with a smaller and aging congregation, originally built to serve a large post war development to the North East of Taunton; known as ‘Lyngford’ to parishioners, ‘Priorswood’ to most other locals.

We have two main Sunday services: a 9am Traditional Communion and a 10.30am Contemporary Service. 

Alongside other mid-week events such as a Community Group, Boys Brigade, brownies and Guides, we also have a popular Thursday Fun Club, attracting many Primary School children.
