Really good photos
and history of the church and excellent details of the stained
glass windows. Wouldn't photographs of the nativity windows
make great Christmas cards?!

You have taken the
website to a new level - would that all churches could do the
same. Warmest congratulations on a job amazingly well done!
I thought the website was brilliant before the improvements, if
you keep on like this I'll run out of superlatives.

Reading the site
helps me keep abreast of what is happening in our community and
makes me realise that there are a lot of 'pockets' within St.
Andrew's that are working for the better good of God. I feel
proud to be a member of the congregation. Seeing how far the
website goes across our world is a joy. Adrian your work is
appreciated though we seldom voice our thanks. Keep up the very
good work. I know when you set it up you wanted to keep it
'live'. You have achieved that. Look forward to reading more in
the future.

Hi! I came to St.
Andrew's (with my wife, her brother and her sister) on Palm
Sunday morning. My wife's mother had died the previous
day. We were all made to feel very welcome and everyone was
so supportive. I asked you if the sermon of that day could
be put on the website and today I found it. Many, many
thanks.
And keep up the
good work on the website; it really is outstanding.

I am grateful
that you find my words appropriate for inclusion in news to
the ongoing life of your community. Please note that I hope,
one day, to visit St Andrew's and perhaps to address the
faithful on some matters of faith and prayer...
Meantime, we
are happily bound by what Tennyson called the '"gold chains"
of our shared faith in Jesus Risen. I pray every blessing
for you and your community as we come to the celebration of
the presence of the Spirit among us ever.
Yours in the

I'm a frequent
visitor to the site, as Adrian well knows. There is so much to
inspire, from the serious, an example of which is Jean Hole's
beautiful review of Katharine's book, to the poetry and humour
of Henry's goat. Surely, no other church has such an imaginative
web-site.

The site is just fantastic!!!!! If some of the people I work
with had half your flair for design it’d make my job a lot
easier! I absolutely love the look of it – and the clear,
simple, useful, structure and navigation! I especially admire
your use of ‘conceptual’ photographs to head up each section.
And I really like your musings too – only read through the intro
paragraphs as yet, but what a great idea. The overriding flavour
I get from the site is that it is a living, breathing, on-going
2-way communication – just exactly what a web site SHOULD be…
Amazing job – congratulations!

I just spent a
little time at your website. I must tell you, it rather broke my
heart, I so longed to visit. I would love to go to your church,
and perhaps someday.
You must understand what England means to Americans like myself.
Many of us grew up devouring English literature and love history
of all kinds. Everything in England seems so romantic, old and
wonderful. The churches
especially. So when I see a building like yours and read how
careful and inclusive and relational you are, it's....well, I
wish I could visit, as I said.
And, as a webmaster myself (supported myself for ten years doing
that) I like the organization of yours. It's very complete
without being
overwhelming. I went through the whole "about us" section.
And thanks for the link to me.
peace, gordon

I am a Christian
who has Aspergers Syndrome and is hard of hearing. I came to
your site because of a link about the Muslim veil (which I am
exploring in order to help me understand the recent
controversy). Something that is forgotten is that for hard of
hearing/deaf people who lip-read a non-see-through veil like the
one Muslim women wear is bound to to be a barrier to
communication.

Greetings from the
Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, known as 'Occupied
Territory' to much of the world, including the south. But here,
is St. Andrew's church which has stood for several years as a
witness to the faith of ex-pats in what is a secular society. An
interesting place, on a divided island which St. Paul visited,
and where St. Barnabas is buried. And, to be honest, where I
sometimes feel trapped!!!!! Am serving God as a Reader in St.
Andrew's, having been a reader at Carhampton before going to
Australia and then landing here. God's sense of humour is
wonderful, and I hope that all of you in Taunton (which I miss
dreadfully) are enjoying much love, peace and joy as you serve a
community which gave my husband and I much joy. Oh dear, have I
gone on too long! Blessings to you all.

This is a really
well thought out site - it's incredibly refreshing to discover
current faith-related news on a church's website, which is
also beautifully designed and easy to 'navigate' around. I
really like the photographs -very slick and current and
carefully written, and I sincerely hope that it helps you to
reach more people.
Though I am not a church-goer myself, I genuinely appreciate
what has been achieved here ... a really good idea, caringly
created.
