The 40 Churches which unite together to share worship and witness in the Taunton area under the banner ‘Taunton Christians Together’ have re-launched their website.

The new website name has been chosen to help people with no detailed knowledge of church terminology to find information about Taunton’s lively church life simply. Webmaster Paul Wittle has spent months working on the technology, adding interactive maps and easy to use features to ensure that enquirers find the answers to their questions quickly.  

The new site went live at midnight on Wednesday 28 February and can be found from anywhere in the world at:

The site contains a host of information about each church in Taunton, including location, details of service times, contacts, etc. Web surfers will also find information about the activities of the Taunton Christians Together Group and much more.

“The website will facilitate communication both between the churches and with the town. We hope that an increasing number of people will use it. One of its purposes is to save the churches and indeed the town from arranging events that clash. Indeed, to find out what is going on elsewhere may mean that we support and visit each other.”
