Celebrating 125 years of music in worship
We love
music at St. Andrew’s. Since 1881 it has been woven inextricably into
our pattern of worship. We draw on a rich heritage of church music from
many centuries, complemented by worthy contemporary pieces. This
approach enables us to keep our worship fresh, whilst respecting our
Anglo Catholic heritage and the richness of our liturgy.
If you
are a singer or play a musical instrument we cordially invite you to
join us in making music. We welcome singers and musicians of all ages
and abilities as members of our choir and music group. All of our
members share a love of music, a spirit of enthusiasm and fun, and a
commitment to attend practices and worship whenever they can. All seek
to serve God through their ministry of music.
