INTERVIEWER

MIKE

How long have you attended St Andrew's? 2 and a half years
What do you do? Pharmacist
What are your five favourite things? Rachmaninov's Piano Concertos, Hill Walking, my grandchildren, travel to foreign countries, reading
Can you describe a book you read recently in one sentence? "What's So Amazing About Grace" by Paul Yancey - guaranteed to change your attitude to life
What is your favourite television programme? Any sports programme but wrestling!
If you could have lunch with two well known people, who would you invite? Mother Teresa and Adolf Hitler
What is one of the most important things you have learned in life so far? Caring about people as individuals
Why is your Christian faith important to you? Because my relationship to God through Jesus brings another dimension to living.  Without Him life has no meaning or purpose that is satisfying
How does your faith affect the way in which you live your life day to day? It is my dynamic for living.  It gives me hope when I despair; joy when I'm feeling low; peace when I am in turmoil; satisfaction in serving others; blessing through giving; keeps me on track and helps me not to go astray
What is special about St. Andrew's for you? The people
If you could say one thing to someone thinking of coming to St. Andrew's for the first time, what would it be? Stop thinking about it - come!
