Keeping in touch - from 'down under'

News from church members Maureen and Frank - 4 February 2006

Hi everyone, hope you are all well and that the weather is not too bad.

I have just caught up with all the news on the web site and have also heard from Pat and Judy so feel in touch with you all.

Congratulations to Jonathan on your new appointment we are really sorry we wont be able to see you and the family before you go . All the best for the future to you all and we hope you will be very happy in your new parish, we will miss you.

We are all fine here and time is passing by very quickly and pleasantly as always. It has been cooler this year with more rain but now it is in the 30,s with nice sea breezes, I wont go on any more about that as it must be frustrating hearing about it  in the English winter!!

Dancing is going well and I have started singing with a local group called Voices in Harmony I have joined them in previous years and they are a very nice group who make me welcome. I am also taking part in a Lent group this year as we are leaving a little later.

TV is pretty awful here so we are very up to date with current movies! We have seen all the latest children's ones with Ben and Hannah and have seen Mrs Henderson presents which was great Memoirs of a Geisha also good and tonight we are going to see Walk the Line

That's all for now.

Lots of Love Maureen and Frank
