New year, new role for Vicar Julian

It has been announced today that Vicar of St. Andrew's, Revd Julian Smith, has accepted a new position as Priest in Charge of St. Thomas' Church in Wells, Somerset.. An exact start date has yet to be agreed, but Julian will be continuing at St. Andrew's for approximately 6 months, and starting his new role in Wells in early 2007.

Congregations at both churches were informed of the news this morning.

Over the coming months all of us at St. Andrew's will be praying for Julian and Margery, who have brought so many blessings to our church, as they prepare for the transition to their new parish.
