A child
needs love and security and a confidence in their own abilities
if they are to grow into mature adults |
|
Why is your Christian faith important to you? |
The
Christian faith teaches that each of us is valuable and loved by
God, it enables us to love and to value others. It gives a
vision for living now and eternally. It enables us to live
less selfishly, open to others and to God and his purposes for
us and the created universe |
|
How does your faith affect the way in which you live your life
day to day? |
In very
different ways. I pray, I give time to voluntary work -
one day a week at the local Citizens' Advice Bureau. I try
to think carefully about the use of my money: how to spend it,
how much to give to the church and to charity. I read and
reflect on society and its problems, here and worldwide, and
consider how we can create more peaceful and just communities. |
|
What is special about St. Andrew's for you? |
The good
quality of worship, including the music and a variety of people
from many different backgrounds |
|
If you could say one thing to someone thinking of coming to St.
Andrew's for the first time, what would it be? |
Please stay
and talk to someone so that you can get to know us and make
friends |
