Stained glass in St.
Andrew's:
The Virgin Mary
There are
two stained glass windows in Church which depict incidents in the life
of the Blessed Virgin Mary over the whole window, one in the Sanctuary
and the other in the Lady Chapel.

The Sanctuary
window, which is to the south of the High Altar represents the
Annunciation, with the Angel Gabriel carrying a lily, the symbol
of purity... |

... and
standing behind the Virgin Mary who is kneeling. It also
includes the famous prophecy from Isaiah: 'Behold a Virgin shall
conceive and bear a son'. |
